At long last, the Distractions collection project Parabolically Yours, is nearing availability.
It’s been a long time coming and it’s been curated with admirable care. It includes everything the band recorded, on 3 CDs and one high-quality vinyl album, and it’s full of alternate versions, live tracks and the later years recordings up till 2013. There’s also a 100+ page hardback book of information and pictures, plus there are different levels of extras, depending on your commitment. This is a one-time only, limited to 500 copies edition, and you can pledge to get your copy here and nowhere else.
You’ll have to forgive me if I don’t sound as enthusiastic as I could, but as I’ve long since feared would be the case, I can’t afford it, so whilst I’m happy to plug it, it’s not going to do me any good.
